BlankIsYours publishes both hand-drawn and digital art, paintings, and photography. The magazine is printed in full colour. Note that we do not accept images of copyrighted characters.
Hand-drawn art, paintings, etc:
Preferred size is 8½" by 11"
We may scale down or crop larger images to fit.
Videography/Film:
BlankIsYours publishes film and videography in the digital publication only. Please keep videos under 3 minutes in length.
If you are submitting a photograph of traditional (handmade) artwork, please ensure the image accurately represents your work:

Lighting: Use natural, even lighting where possible. Avoid harsh shadows, glare, or reflections.

Background: Use a neutral, uncluttered background to keep the focus on your work.

Angle: Photograph the piece straight-on (not tilted or skewed) to avoid distortion.

Editing: Only minimal edits are allowed (e.g., cropping or slight color correction). Do not alter the artwork digitally.

Multiple Images (if applicable): You may email us additional angles or close-ups if they help show texture or detail.
